- My baby was premature
- How do I get my baby to breastfeed / I don't seem to have enough milk / my baby won't suck
- My baby is sick / windy / has colic / has reflux
- My baby is constipated
- My baby doesn't sleep
- How do I get my baby / child into a routine?
- Is it cow's milk protein intolerance?
- Is it a food allergy?
- How do I wean my baby?
- My baby won't put on weight / my baby is too big
- My toddler won't eat / is an extremely fussy eater
- My child has a naso-gastric tube / gastrostomy tube - how do I get them to start to eat?
Our assessment includes:
- Full history about your baby or child - including the birth and any associated problems - premature or sick babies may have certain feeding or associated problems.
- Growth assessment and developmental milestones - how your baby or child is growing and whether he / she is age appropriate.
- Discussions about your household and routine - babies and children need to fit in with the family!
- Family history - particularly of allergy as babies with allergic parents can be more prone to allergies themselves.
- Current feeding patterns
- Observation of your baby or child feeding (if appropriate) - including positioning
